Hybrid Training




In this highly interactive, heartwarming, and incredibly helpful session, participants learn how to teach every Reading Standard using Hallmark Holiday and/or Seasonal Films. Come see how the implementation of these fun but rigorous ELL student-centered lessons engages ALL students, builds confidence in reading and listening, and increases recognition of standards in other literary works through the successful evidence-based “Hallmark Transfer Technique”. Participants leave with a completed Hallmark Holiday/Seasonal Movie Lesson, Academic Reading Binder Core Guide, and a powerful Culturally Responsive Inquiry Lesson that dives deeper and challenges.

Important Session Information:


This session will be provided with two option formats: onsite at ESC6 and through zoom.  If attending the session face to face, it will be onsite at Region 6 ESC 3332 Montgomery Rd, Huntsville, TX 77340 .  ESC 6 encourages participants to wear masks while moving around in the center.  Once participants arrive to their workshop location, masks may be removed at their discretion. 

If you choose to attend virtually through ZOOM, participants are not required to create a zoom account. A computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants will receive a Zoom link via email to join 24 hours prior to the session.

Check in is recommended 20-15 minutes prior to start time to allow entry into the session.
