School Library Programs : Standards and Guidelines for Texas Training
Implementation of library standards and resources in your district's libraries

Training to best utilize Standards, rubrics, templates, and crosswalks created for school library programs in Texas. The Texas State Library And Archives Commission, in consultation with the State Board of Education adopted state standards for school library services in 2018. School districts shall consider the standards in developing, implementing, or expanding library services. The additions in September 2021, included competencies to align TEKS to library services.
Important Session Information:
Liz Phillipi, School Program Coordinator for the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) will train supervisors and librarians on the School Library Program Standards and Resources.
