Financial Aid: Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) Updates




ESC 6 and Texas OnCourse partner up to provide FREE workshops and training to support your college and career advising efforts. 

Important Session Information:


This professional development session will focus on supporting efforts to meet the statewide financial aid requirement in 2021–2022, specifically the ins and outs of the TASFA application. We will cover important details on how students and families should complete the application, common mistakes made, and tips for working with institutions of higher education to maximize the state aid your students are awarded.

 

Attendees will: Understand the components of the TASFA application and availability of state financial aid programs. Explain how to address common TASFA errors and misconceptions. Describe best practices and gain access to key resources for successful financial aid completion.

 

This is a virtual event utilizing the Zoom platform, participants are not required to create a zoom account. A computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants will receive a Zoom link via email to join prior to the session. Check “My Account” on the registration page to ensure your email address in the ESC6 registration system is correct. Check-in is recommended 15-20 minutes prior to the start time of the event to allow entry into the session.
