Behavior Specialist Network

Purpose:

  • Collaboration across different specialists on behavior practices in the classrooms/homes across school districts
  • Professional Development opportunity by providing a guest speaker or a facilitator to discuss specific behavior practices in the school setting
  • Collaboration with universities providing training and/or research opportunities in the area as it relates to evidence based behavior practices for school staff
  • Networking opportunities for professionals in the surrounding area to foster growth in the quality of services provided for students and educators

Targeted Audience:

  • District Behavior Specialists
  • BCBA school staff
  • LSSPs
  • Behavior Teachers

Important Session Information:


This session will focus on evaluating Behavior Intervention Plans in the context of behavior progress.  IEP and behavior strategies selected, data collection, and how to evaluate the students' efforts and teaching staff implementation of strategies as designed.

Participants are encouraged to share their own experiences by emailing fbezerra@esc6.net with their victories and challenges prior to the event.
