The Building Blocks for Student Success in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Classrooms




As a teacher, you know the benefits of a well-organized classroom. The following are just a few reasons to invest in a day together that will launch your classroom for academic, social, and behavioral success in the Fall of 2022:

• To build a classroom that is designed for young learners with special needs

• To visually communicate what is expected throughout the environment & day

• To promote play experiences that are rich with communication opportunities

• To build positive momentum for positive behaviors

Together, we will map out the key areas in your classroom based on your projected student needs to set the stage for a positive and child-centered learning environment. In addition, you will receive access to a virtual library of visual supports that include, but are not limited to, labels for key areas & materials, class rules, class schedules, individual schedules, choice boards, first-then boards, social narratives, communication boards, self-regulation tools and more! Through collaboration and purposeful planning, we can and will create a strong foundation and achieve less stress and MORE SUCCESS in 2022-23!

 


Important Session Information:


This is an in-person and virtual event utilizing the Zoom platform. Participants are not required to create a zoom account. A computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants will receive a Zoom link via email to join prior to the session. Check “My Account” on the registration page to ensure your email address in the ESC6 registration system is correct. Check-in is recommended 20-15 minutes prior to the start time of the event to allow entry into the session.
