Texas Education Code 33.005 (2019) states that school counselors must “plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive school counseling program that conforms to the most recent edition of The Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs”. This presentation will help you do just that!

The morning session will cover a content overview of the TX Model guide, as well as detailing the three stages of creating a comprehensive school counseling program. The afternoon session will consist of work groups for attendees to work on their campus model.

This is a virtual event utilizing the Zoom platform, participants are not required to create a zoom account. A computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants will receive a Zoom link via email to join prior to the session. Check “My Account” on the registration page to ensure your email address in the ESC6 registration system is correct. Check-in is recommended 15-20 minutes prior to the start time of the event to allow entry into the session.
