The Heart of Behavior: Creating Quality FBAs and Effective BIPs
A Hybrid 2-Day Training




Writing effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) can be a challenging and overwhelming process. The Heart of Behavior two-day training will provide you with step-by-step instruction and resources on how to write an effective BIP through an efficient Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) process. These clear and succinct steps will assist you in increasing the effectiveness of behavioral interventions and boost collaboration between teachers, parents, and outside supports.

Important Session Information:


The Heart of Behavior training supports school staff in conducting quality Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Participants will engage in learning:


-Essential components of the FBA & BIP

-Tools for collecting information and analyzing data to determine function

-Planning for individual student needs based on function

-Selecting interventions based on function

-Creating behavioral goals and planning progress monitoring


The Heart of Behavior training is ideal for school assessment staff and special education teachers.
