This session will review some basic characteristics of individuals with Autism and how we can better communicate during a crisis situation.  We will review statistics associated with suicide and Autism as well as common mistakes to avoid when communicating with an individual with Autism in crisis.  This session will be beneficial to anyone who works with individuals with Autism as these skills can be generalized to other non-crisis situations.
