Is it a Disability or a Language Difference?




The goal of this training is to ensure special education evaluators are equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond to the unique evaluation needs of emergent bilingual students; thus, guiding evaluation personnel with effective tools and best practices to implement linguistically appropriate evaluations.



Important Session Information:


Dr. Corinna Cole will provide participants with tools to understand the process of emergent bilingual students when acquiring English. Therefore, participants will have the insight in order to answer the question is it a disability or a language difference.

This event is virtual utilizing the Zoom platform and participants will receive a Zoom link on Friday, February 3rd via email. Therefore, ensure that your email address in your ESC6 registration system is correct.
