Child Nutrition: Food Production Records

The Food Production Record (FPR) is a required document for the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program. A completed FPR provides proof of meeting the meal pattern requirements for a reimbursable meal.

Important Session Information:


We ask that each Manager bring one week of menus, FPRs, and supporting documentation. This training will teach participants Food Production Record (FPR) skills which will include how to fill out a FPR, how to use meal documentation to support the FPR, and how to use the FPR to improve forecasting, communication, organization, and demonstrate compliance. Participants will receive guided activities to build confidence in providing accurate documentation to the Texas Department of Agriculture during an Administrative Review. Target Audience: CN Directors/Supervisors, Managers, and Production Staff.
