Speech-Language Pathology Statewide Learning Series
Solving the Puzzle-Language and Literacy Assessment and Intervention in School-Age Children




Continuing education is a requirement for speech-language pathologists (SLPs).  The SLP must stay up to date on the latest in therapy and research. The Speech-Language Pathology Statewide Learning Series is designed to address current issues, best practices and intervention strategies for SLPs in the field.

 


Important Session Information:


The webinar will explore the tools needed to administer a comprehensive language and literacy assessment for school-age children. We will focus on the selection and implementation of evidence-based interventions for individuals with language and reading impairments. A variety of approaches will be discussed based on student/client assessment results. 

This is a virtual event utilizing the Zoom platform. Participants are not required to create a zoom account. A computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants will receive a Zoom link via email to join prior to the session. Check “My Account” on the registration page to ensure your email address in the ESC6 registration system is correct. Check-in is recommended 15-20 minutes prior to the start time of the event to allow entry into the session.
