Know Your ABCs of Child Behavior and Proactive Supports

For parents and caregivers working with children with challenging behavior, it is helpful to understand the relationship between antecedent (A) or "trigger", the child's behavior (B), and the consequence that follows (C), good or bad. This session will break down the ABCs of behavior to help caregivers offer strategies and supports BEFORE behaviors occur, and how to positively reinforce desired behaviors when they occur.
