Increasing Language and Communication Opportunities in the Home

Communication is behavior, and behavior is communication. When young children struggle with speech and language, it reflects in their moods, their participation, their socialization with others, and in undesirable behaviors. This parent/caregiver session will focus on increasing communication opportunities in the home, using visual supports to help encourage and facilitate communication, and positive reinforcement for communication attempts.
