Past active shooter events have proven the need for realistic exercises delivered in the community. This course answers that need by providing school officials with a train-the-trainer (TtT) course on how to design and deliver a Tabletop Exercise (TTX). In addition, past events have demonstrated that a key point to the effective whole of community preparation includes coordination across all professional disciplines that have responsibilities in the event of an active shooter incident. Workshop participants will be able to develop a tabletop active shooter exercise that includes district and community decision-makers for an emergency response.
This workshop is presented by Texas A&M Engineer and Extension Services. – Emergency Services Training Institute.
