The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) was created by the Texas Legislature as part of House Bill 3 to provide a realistic pathway for top teachers to earn six-figure salaries and to help attract and retain highly effective teachers at traditionally hard-to-staff schools. This session is for District Leadership Teams to network across districts to gather information and best practices regarding the building of a Local Designation System and other facets pertaining to TIA.

Join ESC staff and fellow district colleagues in discussing the many aspects of Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA). Topics include getting started, teacher eligibility, data capture year, stakeholder engagement, calculating data, and much more. Come and share ideas with district leaders across the region and state regarding TIA.
