Youth Mental Health First Aid- Blended
Share
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth. This will be taught in blended format. You will receive pre-work 2 weeks before the IN PERSON portion of the course. The pre-work consists of self-paced modules that MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO the in person portion of the course. Pre-work typically takes about 2 hours. The in person portion of the course is 4.5 hours. YMHFA satisfies HB 18 mandates for school staff professional development requirements in the area of Mental Health.
Important Session Information:
This course will require online pre-work prior to the in-person portion of the course. Lunch on your own.
