District Testing Coordinator Training
2023-2024 Annual District Testing Coordinator Training




This mandatory training will provide assistance for district personnel in the preparation and administration of the state required student assessment program. The roles of the district coordinator responsible for administering the STAAR, STAAR Alternate 2, STAAR EOC, and TELPAS will be presented and discussed. This training will follow the TOT model recommended by TEA. First year coordinators are invited to stay later for additional training and questions/answers.

Important Session Information:


This training is the annual MANDATED training that District Testing Coordinators must receive prior to state assessments. In this session, DTCs will receive the TEA Assessment Training for the year. It is the responsibility of the District Testing Coordinator to turn the training around to their own Campus Testing Coordinators. This session will be available on site at ESC 6 ONLY. Space is limited to the District Testing Coordinator and one backup District Testing Coordinator per district.
