Professional Learning Series - STAAR Elementary RLA
Introduction to STAAR




This 4-part learning series is designed to support instruction to build STAAR readiness. The series will begin with information about STAAR questions and rigor, will calibrate and score Extended Constructed responses, discuss instructional implications, and plan a Reading Review.

Important Session Information:


Session 1 of our STAAR series will focus on understanding the RLA STAAR test.  We will discuss different item types, including the Short Constructed Response (SCR) and Extended Constructed Response (ECR), and the instructional implications of preparing students for STAAR.
