The goal of this training is to ensure that special education evaluators are equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond to the unique evaluation needs of emergent bilingual students.


Important Session Information:


Dr. Corinna Cole will provide participants with best practices on how to conduct a Full and Individual Evaluation (FIE) for an emergent bilingual student who is suspected of having a Specific Learning Disability. Dyslexia and Dysgraphia elements of the FIE will be included in the session, as well as how to identify strengths and weaknesses in the evaluation process.
