LPAC and ARD Collaboration




This training will focus on essential components for emergent bilingual students who are being served in special education. It is designed for teams to gain knowledge on effective collaborative practices and procedures to ensure equitable services for students with disabilities who are emergent bilingual or English learners.


Important Session Information:


Meeting the legal requirements for emergent bilingual students with disabilities requires the ARD and LPAC committees to work collaboratively, thus bridging the services for these students. Therefore, ARD and LPAC committees are highly encouraged to attend as a team.
