This session is part of a series of training courses offered to empower Contracting Entities (CE) in their administration and operation of the food programs that are regulated by TDA. Participants will engage in sessions covering program-specific content pertinent to the application of the Child Nutrition Programs.



Important Session Information:


This is an online session with 3 hours of instruction time led by an Instructor. To participate, a computer setup must include internet capabilities. Participants must be registered to allow access into the session. This class provides an overview of Nutrition Standards for All Competitive Foods and Beverages (aka Smart Snacks) sold in schools outside of reimbursable meals. Participants will gain an understanding of how Smart Snacks will affect a la carte sales and fundraisers as well as how to use the Smart Snacks Calculator.
