Autism Spectrum Disorder
Best Practices for Evidence-Based Evaluations

Taking a team approach to developing evidence-based practices for a social-emotional evaluation, such as autism spectrum disorder, is the focus of this training. When completing an autism evaluation, the school psychologist (LSSP), speech and language pathologist, and educational diagnostician must collaborate and work with families to ensure the evaluation is comprised of a variety of educational and sociological information and take into account the students’ cultural, linguistic, and environmental factors.

Important Session Information:

Dr. Gail Cheramie will provide participants with how to use a variety of educational and sociological information to ensure quality full and individual evaluations (FIE) for students with an autism spectrum disorder. This training has been updated to a virtual on-line only session.
