Lesson Plans That Work!
Differentiation for Students with Significant Disabilities

Differentiation is a topic that always needs addressing for educators teaching students with  significant disabilities. Knowing how to take an activity and be flexible to meet the needs of various levels of students is not easy. It's made even harder when some students don't have reliable response modes, are nonverbal or require extensive hand-over-hand supports.

How does a teacher make that all work?

Designing lessons for students with significant disabilities shouldn't feel like a chore. Truth is, when you understand WHAT you should be teaching those students, planning becomes a lot easier. This session includes just what you need to make lesson planning and differentiation easy.  You will even have time to practice skills and strategies and create your own lesson plan.
