Team Toolbox! Tips, Tools and Collaboration for Educators Supporting Students with Complex Needs
I SEE What You're Saying: Using Video-modeling to Teach Positive Interactions

Team Toolbox is a series of webinars designed to provide teachers with resources and time to build professional connections with colleagues who work directly with students who have significant academic and functional support needs. All are welcome to join this resourceful and collaborative community!

Important Session Information:

Social skills are critical components in navigating our world, whether it be the school world, the home environment, or the workplace. Videomodeling is a dynamic way to teach students how to socially respond and/or socially initiate in appropriate ways using video technology as a demonstration and practice platform. Learn how to 1) identify various videomodeling components to create your own videos for students, 2) apply videomodeling principles to your existing social skills strategies, and 3) align videomodeling techniques with student IEP goals. With videomodeling as a visual accommodation, students can really SEE what you’re saying!
