The functional portion of the PLAAFP is essential to specify student’s strengths, areas of need, levels of independence in areas, and transition elements. A solid PLAAFP assists educators in creating specific and measurable goals that relate to everyday skills and activities, thus enabling students to better access the general education curriculum. Participants will analyze their own methods of creating functional PLAAFPs, develop more data-driven functional goals, and have a better understanding of this critical - yet sometimes overlooked - area of the PLAAFP.
NOTE: Please have one student IEP available to access during this virtual training as a comparison guide.
