Speech Therapy and Hearing Loss: Part 2- Developing Ethical Interventions




Continuing education is a requirement for speech-language pathologists (SLPs).  The SLP must stay up to date on the latest in therapy and research. The Speech-Language Pathology Statewide Learning Series is designed to address current issues, best practices and intervention strategies for SLPs in the field.

Description: What are effective intervention models for working with students with hearing differences in education settings? Explore stages of listening and what goals and strategies work best at each stage. Join us as we consider ways to implement these strategies with educational outcomes. This session will satisfy the Ethics requirements for the Texas state license and for ASHA certification maintenance. This session will also satisfy ASHA’s DEI requirements for maintenance of certificate of clinical competence
