Developmental Delay
Best Practices for Evidence-Based Evaluations

In Texas, the noncategorical early childhood (NCEC) disability criteria is being phased out, and we now have a new disability criteria that we can use: developmental delay. Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year, the developmental delay criteria will begin replacing NCEC. Therefore, this training will provide participants with direction on effectively evaluating and identifying students who meet the criteria of developmental delay.

Important Session Information:

Dr. Gail Cheramie and Dr. MiMi Gomez will provide participants with how to use multiple sources of data to ensure quality full and individual evaluations (FIE) for young children.

Due to the interactive nature of this presentation, the only option for this training is onsite.
