G/T Day 2: Identification & Assessment of Gifted Learners

The purpose of this session is to familiarize teachers with the process by which a student is nominated, assessed, and identified for gifted (advanced academics) services. This training is Day 2 of the 30-hour foundation which is required for teachers of G/T students.

Are you working to earn your G/T 30-hour training? This is the second day in the series of required sessions. In this session, Identification & Assessment, you will learn how to recognize potentially gifted students, and the instruments used to make program decisions.
