Team Toolbox! Tips, Tools and Collaboration for Educators Supporting Students with Complex Needs
5 Steps to Writing a Meaningful IEP Goal

Team Toolbox is a series of webinars designed to provide teachers with resources and time to build professional connections with colleagues who work directly with students who have significant academic and functional support needs. All are welcome to join this resourceful and collaborative community!

Important Session Information:

IEP goals drive individual student learning, so the words and numbers you choose are important. But, they can be tricky to write. Is the goal too narrow, or too broad? Does it challenge the student? This session will outline critical components of a meaningful IEP goal, with suggestions for selecting verbs, mastery criteria, and additional details that strengthen IEP goals. By writing more meaningful IEP goals, you can help improve your students’ success!
