The Multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) is an integrated framework for the systemic alignment of evidence-based prevention and intervention practices to support all the needs of all students. MTSS encompasses academic, behavioral, and mental health/wellness supports for all learners. It can be considered the umbrella for other support systems, such as data-based individualization (DBI), response to intervention (RTI), positive behavior intervention and supports (PBIS), and school mental health (SMH). 

The MTSS TIER courses include an Introduction Module and a Leadership Module which offer key components of building a strong MTSS framework for your school district.

Join us as we explore several Texas school district examples of MTSS! During this Zoom session school districts will:

  • Access examples of MTSS Implementation within several Texas school districts
  • Utilize the MTSS examples to determine what components could be implemented within your district framework
