Content-Based Language Instruction (CBLI) is an integrated approach to language instruction in which language is developed within the context of content delivery that is linguistically sustaining for Emergent Bilingual students. Educators will explore practical strategies for scaffolding language development within content instruction to support emergent bilingual students. Join us for an engaging professional development session that equips you with tools to enhance language acquisition and promote academic success for all learners.

Important Session Information:


This session is specifically designed for elementary teachers across all content areas, grade levels, and certification types who work with Emergent Bilingual (EB) students. Together, we’ll explore practical, targeted, and intentional strategies to support the affective, linguistic, and cognitive needs of EB students through effective, developmentally appropriate content delivery. Educators will leave with tools and approaches that can be seamlessly integrated into daily instruction to foster language development and academic success in every elementary classroom.
