Migrant 101 for Non-Project Districts
2025 ID&R, TX-NGS & MSIX Training for Non-Project Districts

Did you know that Federal Law requires every eligible migrant student residing in Texas be identified and recruited? Participate in this training to review rules and regulations that apply to non-migrant funded districts and to grow your knowledge of identification and recruitment procedures. Learn how the ESC can help you fulfill this requirement through an effective collaboration.

Important Session Information:

Learn what the TEA requests of every school district in Texas regarding migratory children. What is the identification process? What documentation is needed for coding? And, once they are identified, then what? If you have migrant responsibilities in your district, this is a must attend training. We look forward to seeing you there! It is offered virtually utilizing the Zoom platform. A computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants will receive a link via email to join prior to the session. Check-in is recommended 10-15 minutes before the event starts.
