Leading the Way: Campus Administrators and TIA




LEA district directors, TIA contacts, and personnel in teacher appraisal, testing and student data analytics, human capital, finance and teacher compensation, and change management.

This is an opportunity for TEA and ESCs to help districts navigate the requirements, processes, and deadlines for TIA. Our goal is to familiarize district leaders with the logistics and components of the TIA application process and begin providing technical support to districts as they develop their local teacher designation plan.


Important Session Information:


The TIA Campus Administrator Training will equip campus adiministrators and TIA Leads with a better understanding of their unique role in TOA local designation system implementation.

The session will include a brief overview of TIA. Administrators and leads will learn best practices for planning teacher observations, calibrations, student growth measure implementation, and ways to leverage their local designation system to meet campus goals for student outcomes.

Administrators and leads will leave with a completed handbook based on their unique TIA local designation system and some ideas of how to maintain full transparency with teachers as they navigate the proccess.
