Data Recognition Corporation (DRC) has been selected by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to provide Texas districts and public charters with the LAS Battery of Assessment as the Texas statewide language proficiency test for the identification of English Learners/Emergent Bilinguals.
Participants will receive training in the test administration of the statewide identification assessment as required to determine language proficiency of English learners. This training will be conducted in a Training of Test (TOT) administrators’ format while provided training turnkey tips for those who will need to deliver their own training at their district. All training support materials such as power points, handouts and worksheets will be sent as links to registrants several days ahead of the training (there will be no printed materials).
