Fentanyl Awareness and Prevention Education
Fentanyl, Stop the Bleed, and Anaphylaxis Awareness

The fentanyl overdose epidemic continues to be one of the most critical public health emergencies.

Knowledge and resources to take action to protect young lives from deadly fentanyl and fake prescription pills is vital.

Nearly half of teens still don't know that counterfeit pills often contain lethal amounts of fentanyl. The lack of knowledge is leading to tragic consequences.

Important Session Information:

This session provides school personnel with training related to fentanyl education, and to support Texas schools and school districts in implementing evidence-based opioid
overdose prevention and response strategies.

Participants in the course will learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control it with three quick techniques. The ACS Stop the Bleed training course will empower you to make a life-or-death difference when a bleeding emergency happens.

Be prepared to save a life by recognizing symptoms of anaphylaxis and becoming familiar with treatment.
