Substance Use Lunch & Learn: Navigating the Spectrum of Use: From Alcohol to Rx Drugs; with a Mental Health Lens.
The Medicine Cabinet: Navigating Rx and OTC Safety

Join us for an engaging Substance Use Lunch & Learn Series designed to deepen understanding of substance use and its connection to mental and behavioral health. This series will explore the spectrum of use, from alcohol and nicotine to prescription medications and other substances, and examine the factors that can influence how, why, and when use becomes problematic.

Participants will gain practical, prevention-focused knowledge to help recognize potential concerns, understand the relationship between substance use and mental health, and respond with greater confidence and compassion. Through a mental health lens, we’ll explore risk and protective factors, the impact of trauma and stress, warning signs, and strategies for supporting individuals who may be experiencing substance-related challenges.
