Paraprofessional Training
This online course will help lay a foundation for paraprofessionals as they work toward “highly qualified status” according to the requirements of No Child Left Behind. This course includes three components: Reading, Writing, and Math. Participants will work through activities before taking an evaluation in each of the components. Upon receiving a passing score of 70 or above on each of the 3 evaluations, participants will receive 6 continuing professional education (CPE) credits for the session. Districts make the final determination of “highly qualified status” for all paraprofessionals according to their Board Policy.
