The ABC's of Pre-K: Emergent Literacy Guidelines
This session will focus on reading and writing at the Pre-Kindergarten level. During this session, we will take a look at the state expectations through the Pre-K Emergent Literacy Guidelines, work through some engaging activities aligned to these standards, discuss how to make these activities work in the event of school closures, and collaborate on ways to ensure your Pre-K students are ready for Kindergarten. The session will provide 3 CPE hours toward compliance with the 30-hour statutory requirements for PK teacher qualifications under TEC, Chapter 21, Subchapter B.
There will be a webinar February 8 from 4:00-4:30.
