G/T Online: Designing Curriculum for G/T Students




In this course, you will learn about innovative and practical ways to design appropriately challenging curricula for gifted students and about the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) for gifted students. You will contribute ideas to group discussions, share your own experiences, and research related information. You will take a 10-question test at the end of the course.

This workshop meets the state mandate (19 TAC 89.2(1) specifically Section 4.1.1C of the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students for teachers working toward the state required 30 hours of training for gifted educators.

For districts participating in the Advanced Academic (GT) contract, the charge will be removed at checkout.


Important Dates & Info:

  • The course ends on May 31, 2026. Participants must complete all work by this date to receive credit for the Winter/Spring 2026 semester. 
  • Unfinished students must register for a Summer 2026 session. You will need to restart all coursework, as previous work will be archived. 

This is a self-paced online session through the Canvas Instructure System.
