Bridging Gaps: Using Comprehensive Literacy for All to Teach Students with Significant Disabilities

Literacy transforms lives—and with the right instruction and supports, all students can learn to read and write. Grounded in the research of Dr. Karen Erickson and Dr. David Koppenhaver, this cohort, which will focus on supporting emergent readers, providing foundational principles, practical strategies, step-by-step guidance, and ready-to-use activities to help students build essential literacy skills across environments.

Participants will engage in three full-day learning sessions, two virtual Zoom meetings, and on-site collaboration and coaching for their teams.

Join us for a year of learning, collaboration, and “aha!” moments that will ignite literacy success for your students.
