Join Stephen Fleenor for a high-energy session that bridges the gap between cognitive content and classroom practice. This isn't just about "encouraging" students to talk; it’s about architecting opportunities for every EB student to speak and write with authority. By looking through the lens of the science of language acquisition, we’ll explore how to transform the Tier 1 environment into a space where academic vocabulary is accessible, equitable, and—most importantly—used. As part of this session, every participant will receive a license for the Visual Non-Glossary, a resource designed to make deep learning about academic concepts available to all students.
