Teach Smarter, Not Harder: Practical Strategies for Supporting Every CTE Student

This hands-on professional development session is designed for CTE teachers who want practical strategies that translate easily into day-to-day instruction. Participants will explore effective tools for improving student engagement, managing classroom behavior, and supporting students who struggle with motivation, focus, or persistence—without adding unnecessary complexity to their workload.

The session focuses on academic resilience, classroom efficiency, and instructional approaches aligned with Perkins V expectations. Emphasis is placed on strategies that can be used immediately, helping teachers strengthen instruction while maintaining high expectations and supporting student success.

Participants will leave with:
• Tools that can be applied right away in CTE classrooms
• Practical strategies that support student engagement and persistence
• Clearer approaches to working with accommodations and ARD processes
• Instructional methods that support student success without increasing workload
• Greater confidence in managing classroom challenges effectively
This session is ideal for CTE educators who value practical solutions, efficient instruction, and strategies that respect both instructional time and professional expertise.
