Foundations of the Pencil: K-2 Writing

Writing is the encoding half of literacy. This session focuses on the transition from oral storytelling to sentence construction. We will cover dictation routines, the importance of spelling as a linguistic task, and how to use sentence frames to support grade-level writing expectations.
