Youth Mental Health First Aid

Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to empower anyone interacting with youth to help a youth who is experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge or is in crisis. The course provides a 5-part action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations.  This course explains mental health challenges and equips learners to recognize signs and symptoms, to use mental health first aid in both non-crisis and crisis scenarios, and to practice self-care.

**This training satisfies HB3, Sec. 22.904 - Mental Health Training requirement for all staff who regularly interact with students**
