Trainings: Session Detail

escWorks

Threat Assessments within the Sentinel Reporting System

This full-day training provides participants with a clear, practical understanding of all LEA Modules and LEA Toolkits within the Sentinel platform. Attendees will strengthen their skills in recognizing concerning behaviors, applying structured SBTA decision-making, gathering objective information, and documenting assessments with accuracy and defensibility. Separately, participants will learn to navigate Sentinel’s broader safety functions - including intruder detection audits, vulnerability assessments, emergency management tools, required safety reporting, and statewide communication capabilities. Ultimately, participants will leave prepared to manage all required safety functions within Sentinel with confidence and precision.

Important Workshop Information:

Note:  This training is restricted only for previously trained School-Based Threat Assessment team members.  Participants should bring a laptop/tablet from which to access Sentinel during the session.  The Lecture Hall has electric outlets near every seat.
