Talk Read Talk Write
by Nancy Motley is a K-12 instructional framework that uses structured conversation, active reading, and writing to help students master academic content and build literacy skills. The routine involves three phases: Talk (develops context), Read (cultivates knowledge through text), and Write (demonstrates understanding). It's designed to make learning accessible for all students, including English Language Learners, by focusing on student-led discussion and engagement with texts rather than teacher-led lectures.

Participants will receive a copy of Talk, Read, Talk Write by Nancy Motley. This series is provided free to Region 16 districts.
