ELPS Academy 2.0: An Overview for Campus Leaders

This session is designed to familiarize campus leaders with the updated English Language Proficiency Standards, the new Proficiency Level Descriptors and strategies to support Emergent Bilingual Students in all classrooms to build language proficiency. We will discuss implementation of the new ELPS using Content-Based Language strategies as a model for instruction in the Tier 1 classroom. This session is designed to be used by campus leaders as a training tool in their respective districts.
