TIA Calibration Training for Appraisers

This T-TESS Calibration session offers appraisers a dedicated space to refine their evaluative accuracy and eliminate rater drift through deep-dive rubric realignment. Participants will engage in collaborative discussions to define high-impact "look-fors," share best practices for evidence-based scoring, and explore the critical intersection between T-TESS performance levels and the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) system. By synchronizing observational lenses, appraisers will ensure that campus evaluations remain fair, consistent, and directly supportive of the rigorous standards required for TIA designation and professional growth.
