9-12: The morning will cover the vaping prevention program, Catch My Breath. This is a free, evidence-based youth vaping prevention program with published evidence of reducing students’ likelihood to vape. This program helps educators learn how to talk to students, grades 5-12, about the dangers of e-cigarettes and help them understand how to make their own choices. This training offers information on activities to do in the classroom for students to promote healthy lifestyles choices as well as giving structured content for implementation. With this training you will have access to all teaching materials.
1-4: For the afternoon we will go over information for you to be able to implement on your campus as a kick-off for Red Ribbon Week '26 (Oct 26-30). We will examine rising substance use trends, discuss prevention and safety, and give resources for you to utilize when talking with your students about drug use.
