Math RBIS Refresher (Research-Based Instructional Strategies)

This 1-day refresher to the Math RBIS provides returning participants with an updated and streamlined look at the Research-Based Instructional Strategies that anchor high-quality math instruction. Join us to explore the newest enhancements, research updates, and instructional shifts that strengthen the RBIS framework.

During this session, participants will:

  • Revisit each content-specific RBIS and deepen understanding of its purpose in math instruction and student development.

  • Learn the most current research supporting each RBIS and how these updates impact classroom practice.

  • Analyze what each RBIS looks like in high-quality instructional materials, including concrete examples and look-fors.

  • Engage in collaborative conversations to calibrate expectations and strengthen alignment across classrooms and campuses.

This refresher is designed for educators and leaders who have previously completed RBIS and want to stay current, sharpen implementation, and ensure alignment with the latest statewide updates.
